Gisborne is nestled proudly on the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand at 178 degrees
east longitude and 38 degrees 40 minutes south latitude, the first city in the world to see the sun.
Most international airlines fly to New Zealand and Gisborne is only one hour away by air from the
largest city, Auckland or the capital, Wellington.
Air New Zealand operates several domestic daily flights to Gisborne (Metroliner).
Tangihau Station is only a half-hour drive (27 miles/44 km) from Gisborne airport or just a few
minutes by corporate charter helicopter.
We will arrange airport or lodge accommodation pick ups.
